QBOnline Accounting Software
Well, I certainly didn’t think I would be putting together a new webpage for QBOnline Accounting Software again. However, sometimes, old dogs go back to buried bones.
We started using the Desktop version of Quickbooks over twenty years ago. When we first moved back to Chicago from Manhattan, we used to host QuickBooks Desktop on a rack of servers in our office and our clients would connect using the brand new Remote Desktop which was part of Microsoft Server NT 4.0. Wow, when I think about how tortured that set up was I just cringe.
Well, accounting software moved from the desktop to the cloud, and little by little, Intuit decided to open up the API and the Marketplace was born. A blink of the eyes, and here we are. QBOnline has certainly improved over the years, and for some of our clients, it is a viable product. Our own preference at this point is for Xero, but we aren’t going to have that debate on our QBO page.
