Bluewire Strategy – Great Concept
Bluewire Strategy – Great Concept that has incredible potential to provide valuable expertise to professional accountants [e.g. CPA’s], Enrolled Agents, generic “accountants” and bookkeepers with guidance, advice and “best practices” which are sorely needed. There is a substantial amount of talent

within the founder group for the site. We certainly wish them much success with their efforts. It is highly amusing that a core group of Xero Ambassadors is doing what Ben Richmond and the Xero Partner Program in North America is failing miserably at. One can hope that the recognition is forthcoming, and perhaps Xero could outsource a substantial portion of that effort to you.
There are two gaping holes in the offering as summarized on your homepage. You don’t have anything with respect to CRITICAL ITEMS – practice risk management or compliance with regulators which include State Boards of Accountancy, IRS Office of Professional Responsibility and Circular 230, AICPA Professional Standards for those of your audience that happen to be AICPA members.
Finally, there isn’t much mention of web related items like Terms of Service, Privacy Policies, GDPR or granular regulation such as HIPAA, FINRA, SEC 17(a)(3)-(a)(4).
The comments are entirely intended to be constructive, despite whatever any of your opinions of yours truly might be. However, let’s not forget that the level of practice management experience particularly with respect to risk and regulatory compliance I have vs. your team. I don’t expect any of you to come asking any of this from me. However, I would hope that you would all agree that while I “don’t play nice with others”, which is nice language for “that I am an ASSHOLE”, I doubt any of you would challenge my technical expertise with topics identified. So feel free to use what you want and leave the rest.
