My sense is that I managed to offend just about everyone over the last week…which is fine and expect..in one or two cases its is personal, the rest is just my view of the tax profession. The EA engagement has mostly been prickly stuff, and there is a separate reason for that…its at topic for another place. I do hope that I have gotten a message across.
My second observation is that the combination of cloud accounting technology, old CPA’s retiring or not keeping with technology, and inexperienced CPA’s just not knowing what to do got my blood boiling. I am involved in several efforts from AICPA that will do some educating that works hopefully, or ass kicking if required. If anyone has suggestions for resources that would add to a balaced presentation, the gibberish/bluster mix that the parrots drone about constantly I would absolutely welcome engagement. Further, is someone would care to write a blog piece asserting their view on any of these issues I would welcome the chance to provide the space to publish it,and by using an i-frame I guarantee the integrity of piece will not be touched. Finally, as a piece offering, I posted a collection of links that will be part of the Tax Professional iOS Application that we hope to publish in a matter of weeks.
